Klaus Axen focuses mainly on the development, construction and finance aspects of ISL and has been involved in that capacity since May 2003. He has extensive experience with forming, managing and operating start-up companies. Previously, Mr. Axen spent eight years as an active attorney, initially with the largest Tucson law firm and then in his own practice, assisting hundreds of clients with their businesses. He later turned his attention to various business ventures of his own. Mr. Axen’s background includes commercial and residential real estate matters, employment and contract matters, tax and estate planning, and litigation.

Robert Larson is responsible for the management and operations of the ISL properties. He has been on site at The Villas since June 2005, monitoring and participating in its daily operation. Mr. Larson has extensive sales, marketing and customer service background with one of the largest health club companies in California. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, an M.A. in Sports Administration and an M.A. in Education. From 1995 to May 2005, Mr. Larson worked as Athletic Director and Department Chair for the start-up of two new high schools in Tucson, Arizona. His vast experience in facilities and personnel management, as well as scheduling, contribute to the day-to-day operations and future expansion of ISL.

Charlene Simonson is the General Manager of the Villas at La Canada, and is directly responsible for its day-to-day operations. She has over 10 years of experience managing adult care homes, paying special attention to every detail needed in providing residents with superior care and a first class setting. Ms. Simonson’s contacts in the community have been a significant factor in obtaining quality caregivers for our residents and attracting residents to our neighborhood.
